LIBERAL DEMOCRAT MANIFESTO FOR DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTIONS 200910.04.14am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 13th May 2009
Derbyshire Liberal Democrats launched their Manifesto for the County Council elections on 4th June at a meeting in Chesterfield attended by the party's national President, Baroness Ros Scott. Liberal Democrat Group Leader on the County Council, Barrie Taylor said "These elections are being held at a time of economic and political turmoil. We believe that there is now a golden opportunity to put into effect the principles underlying this manifesto - openness, real democracy, and co-operation instead of confrontation."
