Liberal Democrats come second in European Election in Derbyshire Dales

11.54.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sun 7th Jun 2009

Liberal Democrats came second in the European election in Derbyshire Dales pushing Labour into fifth place below UKIP and the Greens.

It is confirmed that with only Hinckley and Bosworth left to declare that Liberal Democrats have won the 5th seat in the region and retained Bill Newton Dunn as our MEP.
