Andrew Creese

Born and brought up in Derbyshire Dales, I moved from Youlgrave to Darley Dale in 2013. I trained in economics, worked for the British Council, and then held university lectureships in London and Swansea. I subsequently worked as chief economist for the World Health Organisation and retired in 2004. In Darley Dale I have served on the Town Council and the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group. The submitted Neighbourhood Plan stresses the importance of early community consultation for developments of ten houses or more and I hope to see it used as the basis for Darley Dale's development over the next two decades.
