Do you (or anyone you know) have a pre-payment meter for their gas or electricity?
If so then you should expect the 'energy rebate' from the government to be delivered in the form of vouchers in the first week of each month. This was due to start at the beginning of October so you should have already received one set of vouchers (by post / email or text).and will shortly be receiving the second set.
A large number of people would appear to be losing out since the company Pay Point who run the 'smart card' pre-pay system, are reporting that only about half of the expected numbaer of vouchers for October have been cashed!
