Derbyshire Dales District Council is hosting its very first 'Go Green' event in Matlock's Hall Leys Park on Saturday 30 July from 10am to 3pm.

The free-to-enter, family-friendly event will showcase solutions to the climate and biodiversity crisis, encouraging residents, businesses and visitors to reduce their carbon footprint by making lifestyle changes such as reducing energy use, generating less waste, becoming more active and encouraging biodiversity in their gardens.

As part of this event Derbyshire Dales Climate Hub will be holding a community assembly 'Giving local people voice and choice', engaging in discussion on 'How to go about making space for nature within Derbyshire Dales'

If interested, see them at the bandstand, Hall Leys Park, Matlock 11 - 1 enrol in advance or on the day.
