Time for an apology?
When even the Levelling Up Secretary, Michael Gove, says the Tory Party "made the wrong decision this summer about the path we should take" then we know we are due an apology!
The in-fighting that has riven the Conservative Party, with opposing camps tearing each other apart, will doubtless continue unabated and drag this country into a downward spiral of narrow-minded vindictiveness. They have compromised our futures on so many levels, it is tantamount to wilful neglect.
We are struggling financially, both individually and nationally. Government borrowing, at a historically high level, is becoming unsustainable when the national credit rating has been further trashed by their incompetence.
We will inevitably suffer these consequences personally.
Poverty is now a reality for huge numbers of the population.
Our reputation as reliable partners in the global fight against climate change has been dealt yet another blow with not only Truss showing a shocking disregard but now Sunak not even deigning to turn up. Boris Johnson is though! How far will their pettiness go before we are allowed to say "ENOUGH!".
