We aim to become the largest party on Derbyshire Dales District Council & Derbyshire County Council but to do that we need people to stand as Lib Dem candidates at every election. A Progressive Alliance on DDDC
We are the largest party on DDDC and we lead Derbyshire Dales District Council governing in a Progressive Alliance.
Steve Flitter, the Leader of the Liberal Democrats on DDDC said - We are delighted to come together as 3 progressive Parties to offer the residents and businesses of the Derbyshire Dales a new approach to local politics. Is Geography a problem for Conservatives?
From the extensive comments about Ashbourne in their by-election leaflets you might have thought that the town was in the Carsington Water Ward. Or is it just that they can think of no benefit that the last two decades of Conservative control in Derbyshire Dales has brought to the immediate area of Carsington Water?

Road Safety on the cheap?
There is an implication in the Conservative election material for Carsington Water Ward that Tories are taking road safety seriously. However it seems that they are not taking it seriously enough to spend their 'own' money on it.
