It was a significant moment last night in Matlock Town Hall as a Liberal Democrat led 'Progressive Alliance' took charge of Derbyshire Dales District Council. This was the first time that the Council had not been led by Conservatives in 24 years.
This Thursday, 25 May, will see the Liberal Democrats, Labour and the Green Party celebrate an agreement to run Derbyshire Dales District Council for the next 4 years.
The UK must once again stand tall, leading on the world stage and working closely with those who share our interests – including, above all, our partners in Europe.
